Double Standard

Ingredients

1 oz.	Rye Whiskey (or Bourbon)
1 oz.	Gin
.75 oz.	Raspberry Syrup
.5 oz.	Lime Juice

Directions

1. Combine all the ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

2. Shake for 15 Seconds

3. Double Strain into a Chilled Cocktail Glass or Nick & Nora

4. Garnish with a Lime Wheel

The Double Standard is a sour that was created by Derric Crothers over at Boston’s Green Street. The name "Double Standard" comes from the fact it's a Split Based cocktail with both Gin and Rye in equal measure. There is another drink out there sharing the same name containing Cucumber-infused Vodka, but this is the one I found to be most enjoyable. There is also the Double Standard Sour.
