Midori Sour

Ingredients

1 oz.	Midori
1 oz.	Vodka
.5 oz.	Lime Juice
.5 oz.	Lemon Juice
	Soda Water

Directions

1. Combine the Alcohol and Citrus Juice in a Collins Glass over Ice

2. Top with Soda Water

3. Stir till Combined

4. Garnish with a Lemon or Lime Wheel and a Straw

The Midori Sour is less of a Sour and more of a Fizz. It was invented sometime in the 1970's and later became a staple of 80's Night Clubs. If you want an actual Sour, below is a recipe for the 3-Ingredient Midori Sour.

3-Ingredient Midori Sour

Ingredients

2 oz.	Midori
1 oz.	Lime Juice
.5 oz.	Egg White

Directions

1. Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker

2. Dry Shake vigorously for 30 Seconds

3. Add Ice

4. Wet Shake for 15 Seconds

5. Double Strain into a Sour Glass or Coupe

6. Garnish with a Melon Ball

Ingredients

2 oz.	Midori (Melon Liqueur)
1 oz.	Vodka
​1 oz.	Orange Juice (or Pineapple Juice)

Directions

1. Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

2. Shake for 15 Seconds

3. Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass

4. Garnish with a Melon Ball

The Melon Ball is an 80's Cocktail probably named after the Melon Baller, a kitchen utensil used to scoop balls of Melon. This drink is also commonly made into shooters.

.5 oz.	Grenadine

Directions

1. Combine the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

2. Shake for 15 Seconds

3. Double Strain into a Rocks Glass over Ice

4. Garnish with a Lime Wheel
