The Margarita's origin is unclear. On theory is that it was invented by a man from Dallas, Texan who was visiting Acapulco, Mexico in 1948. Another theory is that the drink is a simple twist on the Tequila Daisy. The Margarita can be served shaken or blended and flavored by adding fruit. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
