Blinker
Ingredients
2 oz. | Rye Whiskey |
1 oz. | Grapefruit Juice |
.5 oz. |
Directions
Combine all the ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
Shake for 15 Seconds
Double Strain into a Nick & Nora or Coupe
Garnish with a Grapefruit Twist or 3 Raspberries
The Blinker is a riff on the Whiskey Sour that was created in the 1930's. It's original incarnation was made with Grenadine. Later on, it was discovered that Raspberry Syrup created an overall tastier and better balanced drink.

Grapefruit Martini
Ingredients
2 oz. | Grapefruit Juice |
1 oz. | Vodka |
1 oz. | Triple Sec |
Directions
Sugar the Rim of your Cocktail Glass
Combine all the ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
Shake for 15 Seconds
Double Strain into your Rim Sugared Cocktail Glass
Garnish with a Grapefruit Peel
The Grapefruit Martini, despite it's name, isn't an actual Martini. This drink is very sweet. Some recipes call for a little bit of Lemon or Lime Juice to bring down the sweetness a little bit. I find that to take away from the Grapefruit flavor, but to each their own.

Beach Towel
Ingredients
2 oz. | White Rum |
.5 oz. | Lime Juice |
1.5 oz. | |
.25 oz. | Cream |
5 | Strawberries |
1 | Banana |
Directions
Combine half of the Rum, Lime Juice, Simple Syrup into a blender with 1.5 Cups of Ice and the Strawberries.
Blend for 30 Seconds
Pour into a Highball Glass until it's half full
Place the Glass in the Freezer while you make the other half of the Drink
Combine the remaining Ingredients into a blender with 1.5 cups of Ice
Blend for 30 Seconds
Fill the rest of the Glass up with the contents of your blender
Garnish with a Strawberry, Lime Wedge and a Paper Parasail if you have one
Add a Straw
The Beach Towel is a delicious two layered blended Daiquiri. If you want an even more tropical drink, Coconut Rum in place of the White Rum would not be out of place in this Cocktail. The Cocktail is very similar in look to the Miami Vice and Lava Flow.
