Espresso Martini
Ingredients
1.5 oz. | Vodka |
.5 oz. | Coffee Liqueur |
1.5 oz. | Chilled Espresso (or Cold Brew) |
.25 oz. | Simple Syrup (optional) |
Directions
Combine the ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
Shake for 15 Seconds
Strain into a Cocktail Glass
Garnish with 3 Coffee Beans
The Espresso Martini is a "Martini" in name only. It was invented sometime in the 80's. Dick Bradsell claims to have invented the drink at Fred's Club in London, England. He says made it for a young lady who asked for a cocktail that would "Wake me up, then fuck me up." This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
