Ingredients
1 oz. | Elderflower Liqueur |
.25 oz. | Lemon Juice |
| Chilled Champagne (Sparkling Wine) |
Directions
Combine the Elderflower Liqueur and Lemon Juice in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice
Shake for 15 Seconds
Double Strain into a Champagne Flute
Top with Champagne
Stir for 5 Seconds
Garnish with a Lemon Twist
Like the French 76, the French 77 is a variation of the French 75. Unlike the French 76, however, the drink had to be rebalanced because it substitutes a Liquor for a Liqueur. There is no Simple Syrup in this because sweetness comes from the Elderflower Liqueur.
