The Vermosa is a Mimosa, but with Apple Cider. It gets its name from the State of Vermont, because Vermont is well known for their Apple Cider. An Apple Crisp is a version of this drink spiked with Applejack. In a lot of the world, Cider refers to the alcoholic beverage but in the U.S. it is non-alcoholic. It doesn't matter what you use. If you want a bit more of a punch, use the alcoholic kind.
