Despite it's name, the Moscow Mule was invented in the U.S. It more than likely got it's name for how synonymous Russia and Vodka are. The drink was supposedly created in 1941 at the Cock 'n' Bull Pub in Los Angeles, California. When John Martin and the Bar Owner Jack Morgan had too much Smirnoff and Ginger Beer, this drink was created. The Copper Mug part is a mystery however. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
