Revolver
Ingredients
2 oz. | Bourbon (or Rye) |
.5 oz. | Coffee Liqueur |
2 Dashes | Orange Bitters |
1 | Orange Peel |
Directions
Combine the Whiskey, Liqueur and Bitters into a Mixing Glass with Ice
Stir for 30 Seconds
Strain into a Cocktail Glass
Flame an Orange Peel over the top of the Cocktail
Garnish with the flamed Orange Peel
The Revolver is a riff on the Manhattan made with Coffee Liqueur. It was created by Jon Santer at Bruno's, a bar in San Francisco. The original was made with Rye Whiskey, but since it's creation, Bourbon has become more commonly used.
