Old Fashioned

Ingredients

2 oz.

Bourbon (or Rye Whiskey)

1

Sugar Cube (or Teaspoon of Sugar)

3 Dashes

Angostura Bitters

1 Teaspoon

Water

Directions

  1. Place the Sugar Cube in a Rocks Glass and cover it in the Bitters

  2. Muddle the Sugar Cube in the bottom of the Glass

  3. Add the Water and Stir till Combined

  4. Add Ice and the Whiskey and Stir till Combined

  5. Express the Oils of a Orange Peel over the Top and then use the Peel as a Garnish



The Old Fashioned was among the first Cocktails. It is thought that the term Cocktail was actually first used in 1806 in reference to this drink. despite this, the drink didn't get its name until the 1880's because this was an old way of making Cocktails. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.

South Side

Ingredients

2 oz.

Gin

1 oz.

Lemon Juice

.5 oz.

Mint Leaves

.25 oz.

Egg White (Optional)

Directions

  1. Combine all the Ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker

  2. Shake for 15 Seconds

  3. Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass or Coupe

  4. Garnish with a Mint Leaf



The South Side, or Southside, was either invented in and named after the Southside Sportsman's Club of Long Island, New York or the South Side district of Chicago, Illinois where it was thought to have been Al Capone's drink of choice. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.

Sex On The Beach

Ingredients

1.5 oz.

Vodka

1 oz.

Peach Schnapps

2 oz.

Orange Juice

2 oz.

Cranberry Juice

Directions

  1. Combine the Alcohol and Orange Juice in a Highball Glass over Ice

  2. Stir till Combined

  3. Pour the Cranberry Juice over the Top and let sink to the Bottom

  4. Garnish with an Orange Slice and a Straw



The Sex on the Beach was probably invented sometime prior to 1982. It is essentially a combination of a Fuzzy Navel and a Cape Codder. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
