John Collins

Ingredients

2 oz.

Bourbon

1 oz.

Lemon Juice

.5 oz.

Soda Water


Directions

  1. Add Bourbon, Lemon Juice and Soda into a Collins Glass over Ice

  2. Top with Soda Water

  3. Stir till Combined

  4. Garnish with a Lemon Wheel, Maraschino Cherry and Straw



The naming of the John Collins and Tom Collins can be confusing. The John Collins used to be the name of the Gin Variation, but was changed because of the use of Old Tom Gin. The name John Collins has recently been used to refer to the Whiskey Variation.

Bay Breeze

Ingredients

2 oz.

Vodka

1.5 oz.

Pineapple Juice

Cranberry Juice

Directions

  1. Combine the Vodka and Pineapple Juice in a Highball Glass over Ice

  2. Top with Cranberry Juice

  3. Stir till Combined

  4. Garnish with a Lime Wheel and Straw



The Bay Breeze is a close relative of the Sea Breeze and the Cape Codder. In fact, it was probably created as a result of the same circumstances that the Sea Breeze was created in.

Bellini

Ingredients

2 Parts

Prosecco

1 Part

Peach Purée

Directions

  1. Pour the Peach Purée in a Champagne Flute

  2. Top with Prosecco

  3. Stir till Combined

  4. Garnish with a Peach Slice



The Bellini was created sometime after 1934 by Giuseppe Cipriani at Harry's Bar in Venice, Italy. The drink is named after painter Giovanni Bellini, because the color of the drink reminded Cipriani of a part of one of his paintings. A Strawberry variant of this drink is a Rossini. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.
