Earl Grey MarTeani

Ingredients

1.5 oz.

Earl Grey Tea-Infused Gin (See Below)

1 oz.

Lemon Juice

.75 oz.

.5 oz.

Egg White

Directions

  1. Rim a Cocktail Glass with Sugar

  2. Combine all the ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker

  3. Dry Shake vigorously for 20 Seconds

  4. Add Ice to the Shaker

  5. Wet Shake for 15 Seconds

  6. Double Strain into the Sugar Rimmed Cocktail Glass

  7. Garnish with a Lemon Twist



The Earl Grey MarTeani is not a "Martini" but a twist on the Gin Sour. The cocktail was invented by Aubrey Sunders at the Pegu Club in New York City.




Earl Grey Tea-Infused Gin Directions

  1. Pour Gin into a glass Bottle or Jar

  2. Add an Earl Grey Teabag to the container

  3. Let sit a room temperature for at least 2 Hours

White Lady

Ingredients

1.5 oz.

Gin

1 oz.

Triple Sec

.5 oz.

Lemon Juice

.5 oz.

Egg White

Directions

  1. Combine all the Ingredients into a Cocktail Shaker

  2. Dry Shake Vigorously for 20 Seconds

  3. Add Ice to the Shaker

  4. Wet Shake for 15 Seconds

  5. Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass or Nick & Nora



The White Lady, no relation to the Pink Lady, was created in 1919 by Harry MacElhone at Ciro's Club in London, England. The original recipe featured Crème de Menth instead of Gin. The recipe was later changed by Harry in 1929 to the current recipe. This is an Official IBA Cocktail.

Ingredients

2 oz.

White Rum

.5 oz.

.75 oz.

Lemon Juice

Directions


  1. Combine all the ingredients in a Cocktail Shaker with Ice

  2. Shake for 15 Seconds

  3. Double Strain into a Cocktail Glass or Nick & Nora

  4. Garnish with a Lemon Twist



The Honeysuckle, like the Honey Bee, is a riff on the Bee's Knees. The difference between the drinks is substitution of Gin for White Rum.
